Not particularly. I guess there is a bit of that given the lack of a roof, but it was designed as a soft top from the outset rather than a tin top that has the roof chopped thereafter. I had the geometry all changed on mine shortly after getting it which certainty seemed to be beneficial.

The roof 'mod' is to get a neoprene tube that is designed to stop the chain knocking and tking paint off a mountain bike frame. You need two of them, one for left and right side if the roof. They wrap round a
particular part of the roof frame and its job done. Takes 2 mins to do.
