I chopped one in to get my Impreza. Was a good car, fun to drive but I alwys had to be ready for it to try and swap ends on me, even when driving gently. The rear end slip was not very progressive on the OEM tyres, but this was helped by moving to tyre with a softer compound.
Anyway, there is no UK AP2. That code refers to US models which were sold with a 2.2l engine. All UK models retained the AP1 code but there were various revisions made throughout the years.
Reminds me, I've still got a set of white wheels / tyres in the shed I was supposed to get sold!
