so i set off at 7am this morning with my brother to collect my new scooby
Arrived and all looked well there was a bit of smoke on idle as the seller described
So we did the deal and headed home but after a mile or so once the engine warmed the smoke started getting worse from under the bonnet too! i plooded on until i could pull into a layby and we popped the bonnet revealing a huge ploom of smoke and oil dripping from the turbo
far worse than the seller had led me to beleive! ! So there was only one choice! recovery after 5 and a half hours the truck finally arrived all in all a 12hour round trip haha
However i do have the turbo from wagon si ready to go on and at the price i got it for i think its a real bargain and with some tlc from me is going to be a real nice car
It will all be worth it in the end! !! Just glad to be home having a cold beer
