As C.J. said, better protection out of the box with knock (or active knock) and wideband (sensor needed), then you can add a 'sensor pack' e.g. Oil temp/pressure, water temp, air intake temp, get, etc. etc.
Switchable maps, datalogging, DCCD control (if fitted) anti-lag and L/C.
