Not much more has developed today! still in the hands of the company i brought the car from, I did found out the quote today for the repair, which surprisingly was about half what i originally estimated (estimated from quotes from other companies).
I did tell Brent this morning that as the the gearbox was out, it would be rude not to change the clutch as the labour is already done lol
