Yet the insurers are the ones to blame?
I know i sound like i'm moaning, but in 13 years of working in insurance i've never seen a claim thrown out without a very good reason. (enless that just shows how good the companies we use are)
when you put it like that its more understanding!! you would have thought tho with the evidence given and obvious damage caused by coach his insurence would pay out then make a case against the coach driver?

And untill they got the money back from the coach company, assuming they ever manage to, your mate would have an open claim against him... making his insurance higher.
If the coach driver is saying it isn't his fault, and if there are no witnesses, it makes it very difficult to prove.
