Jeez ....... this is weird !
Our daughter (Sheridon, now 23) has always had a talent of writing poetry since a little girl.
My Mrs (Hev) and I and family & friends have often been shocked at some of the outstanding bits & pieces she has written out of her head from the age of 6.
Nothing was copied as I have seen her sit down many times and write them.
God knows where it comes from as Hev & I nor any family member have ever been involved with it.
The other night Sheridon and her boyfriend Barney were here and Hev thought it would be good to dig out all the drawings and poems that she had saved, and that Barney would find them interesting.
So we were all sitting there having the crack when all of a sudden I hear a loud OMG and Sheridon said "read this"
It was a sad poem that she wrote when she was 8 yrs old about a girl named Shannon who ended up taking her own life.
Sheridon never had a friend or knew anyone by that name until years later when she became very good friends with a girl named Shannon Hunt whilst at her last School (Hill View School for Girls).
