Some photos of the Red Arrows at Goodwood on Thursday.

As you'll see in some of the formations, they only had 8 aircraft instead of 9 - one of them had a fault whilst preparing for takeoff and couldn't fly.

Really impressive how they can improvise in such precise manouvres, different aircraft leaving smoke trails where necessary to compensate for the missing aircraft.

They did a good half hour display i guess, although that included a couple of mins where they retreated away from Goodwood after another aircraft was detected in their airspace
