I thought it was 4 pin too hence why I bought one.
Only to find after throwing the old one on the ground and fitting the new one that the connector wouldn't fit.
So had to take it back out, fit the old one then go get another with 2 pins.
It's a very early B7, on a BGB engine.
Thermostat now fitted, a bit of a PITA due to the bloody spring clips not being big enough to get over the hoses/pipes, but started at 1:30pm and was filling with coolant at 3:00pm.
