Scott.T 24-11-2012 06:31 PM

Nice, I do like the 22B vents but never fitted as not sure how close they are to OE quality

impreza27 24-11-2012 06:32 PM

The quality seems good, but they are going on the grey car behind, and i'm having his standard ones

Steve - the grey one belongs to my mate Leighton. Once it's finished i'll do a write up on it. The wheels are a bit tasty!

Hongkongfooi 24-11-2012 09:42 PM

Very nice mate:yeah:

Moley_WRX 26-11-2012 08:06 PM

I've just bought a set of standard V5/6 alloys for it, as the current ones have spacers to clear the 4 pots, which isn't ideal. Am having the new wheels re-furb in the same gold as the current ones, so it should look quite tidy.

Just got to sort an annoying knock from the front left suspension, sounds like a bush gone or ball-joint.

simba 27-11-2012 10:22 AM

nice !

ralliart didz 28-11-2012 05:45 PM

Couple of small updates - normal numberplates, sprayed the wiper arms (haven't re-fitted yet), machine polish, V5/6 wheels, and genuine V5 spoiler is going to be sprayed this weekend

Looking good Gary..

Moley_WRX 09-12-2012 07:06 PM

Productive weekend.

Spoiler is at the bodyshop, shocks have been replaced (one was leaking badly), standard airbox fitted, centre of steering wheel has been sprayed with black plastidip, and the CEL problem is cured.

This is the old knock sensor, would explain why is was causing problems....

Moley_WRX 09-12-2012 07:10 PM

Car is now driving really well, didn't expect it to be quite so quick as standard.

Had a bit of fun with the DCCD yesterday, it is very tail-happy.

Scott.T 09-12-2012 07:17 PM

Knock sensor has taken exactly that.
Looks like it's been overtightened.

Tone says' the same about his Classic's rear end, when he messed with the DCCD.

Scott.T 09-12-2012 07:18 PM

What's that platidip like to use. Was thinking of using some.

Moley_WRX 09-12-2012 07:30 PM

It's good stuff, the finish suits the interior trim much better than paint.

And if you get it wrong it just peels off!

Moley_WRX 09-12-2012 07:31 PM

I'm leaving the DCCD wheel would all the way back with the green O on the clocks... is that right?

Yeah, that's the one, fully open so rear biased, I used to put it up to first orange in the wet if I wasn't planning on having any sideways fun

Moley_WRX 09-12-2012 09:15 PM

Cheers, i assume all the way forward is just for snow/ice?

That's what I've used it for before and it worked a treat, also I think you can use it for launches

Moley_WRX 16-12-2012 04:21 PM

Moley_WRX 18-12-2012 08:11 PM
