wheel alignment trouble!!

after changing my rear lateral arms (which i got from breakers) cos my old ones were bent, i went to get the wheels aligned today but still no joy!! the best they could get was still 3mm out.

i was thinking about getting some hardrace adjustable arms!! would this cure the problem or can anyone one think of something else thats causing it to be out??

the hubs have been checked and seem to be ok

thanks sam

have you got the correct arms for the car as there are a number of variations across various models................

when you say 3mm out, what exactly is the issue and was it the same as befoe you changed the arms?? if it was a chassis/hub problem i would expect an issue on one side of the car not both equally

and who is checking it and how are they checking ?

Reason I ask is I had my front tracking done by a plank. he lined them up with the back wheels and my steering wheel straight aparently. I had to take my steering wheel off and move it round a couple of notches after

the issue before i changed them was just the fact passenger side arm was bent quite badly and the drivers side was slightly bent, i got some arms from a subaru breakers.
i got them fitted on monday with no problems and today when to autowise in newhaven as they seem to have all the gear lol. i presume they got wat the car should align of a database or something.
the chap who done it today also said it could be the wrong arms. i cant remeber the precise figures but i think the passenger side rear was +3mm and the drivers side rear was +2.8mm

a full set of adjustable arms is something i want to get in future, so i thought save me buying more oem arms, to just get the adjustable ones now!! if you guys think it will cure the problem??
