Suspension

Anyone know if my Hawk will accept the front suspension legs off a WR1???

Don't see why not....although yours is the widetrack but don't know if that effects it

Scott.T 15-09-2012 06:45 PM

i am trying to find out the same for the rears.
officially the answer is no as subaru have some sort of legal tie that no aftermarket macpherson strut supplier is allowed to sell until 5 years after last manufacture.

i was going to ask E if he still has his old rear ones knocking about (no pun intended) and compare.

Wide track and non have totally different part numbers

Scott.T 15-09-2012 08:14 PM

Answer looks to be no.
Will these fit threads from Nasioc : http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1303381

wot about rb 320 ones nige, there was some on pistonheads for £250. in subaru parts. bargain  there still there justed looked

Scott.T 15-09-2012 08:45 PM

tempted with these myself. If ever I was to go Coilover I would have to go for quality such as Bilstein : http://www.larkspeed.com/index.pl?a=...ght-Adjustable

RB320 Billies are good but have seen a few for sale that are already suffering knock from the rear.

I think I might be getting the grease gun out for mine as the rear knock is getting worse.

Yeh trouble free suspension you would hope, so not a bad buy with that guarantee especially knowing what subaru rear shocks can be like.

Problem with Bilstein B14 is not enough review on them,B16 selling Lichtfield which seems are OK

KW V3 or Nitron will be mine choice if i would go again with coilovers, running HSD HR which are not bad on middle setting

KW would be worth a look as have a good rep on alot of vehicle.
Although if price is close to billies then for me there's only one choice.
