For anyone who use the tolls. This is the date, now confirmed, where the toll at the Dartford River Crossing will RISE to £2 per crossing, up from the current £1.50.

Between 10pm and 6am is still free.

Still ridiculous.

Friend works there and says each person in a 8 hour shift takes about £2000 :-o

That would have been true if the land one of the legs is on was owned by the DoT

from what i gather yes the bridge was ment to be free once payed for once the bridge completed being paid for the govement pocketed the money for a few years and sold it and aparently its know owned by a french or german company
