Interesting stuff....
seen a few Mk1 & Mk2's running Vauxhall twin-cam units. Supposed to be nice, but I could never put a vauxhall unit in a Ford.

There must be some good twin-cam options for the pinto block these days, that can run some sort of engine management.

Always fancied a cossie powered Mk1. But like the Twink/BDA cost too much when they fail...well they used to when mine failed.

The MKII I was in at the weekend was running a 2.0l naturally aspirated Cosworth putting out about 240bhp and that was with a 205 pinto block

lots of the classic rally boys use red top vauxhall engine its head was designed by cosworth , you can get 24o bhp with standard internals so cheaper than norm asp cossy. and you can get ali cam covers to make look old skool like the duretec has been :yeah:
