Marussia Test Driver injured

Seen this on the news, hope she recovers......

News says she was doing some straight line testing and stacked it into the back of a stationary truck - not good!

Women drivers etc.. ;)

Hope she's not too bad, although major trauma unit cant be good.

There's a couple conflicting stories atm, one where she locked up coming into the pits and another where the car suddenly engaged WOT and shot into the team lorry..

She was slowing down coming into a make shift pit area and around 15 mph the car took off heading for a truck and ending up wedged under the loading platform.

Too many buttons confuse women ! ............ that why a kitchen never has many.

Similar to giving an iPad to a Sloth.

Very sad :(, and I've got to say these jokes about woman drivers are in fookin bad taste as this could of been a even more serious incident

It is very sad and looks to have been completely avoidable :(

I imagine the loading platform on the back of the lorry would have been left at that height (about 2 ft off the ground) as it would have allowed people to quickly step up from ground > platform > lorry. Using the platform correctly and it would have been on the ground, or up out of the way.
