Getting rid of tar and bugs

I've got a new van, and I try and wash it at least every two weeks max, its silver and already has tar spots along the bottom and bugs on the front, is there anything to add to the wash to remove it and to protect it in the future? Thanks

I use poor boys bug squash for tar/bugs on our cars. Really good and goes a long way I actually use it 50:50 diluted.

Turtle wax heavy duty car wash for me works ok.

Off the shelf I use autoglym intensive tar remover or go for the Poorboys option from cleanyourcar.co.uk :-)

9 inch angle grinder with abrasive blades :yeah:

Thanks, I'm going to do an order for some poor boys bits and a clay bar.
Cheers,
Skullfudge, I think seeing out of the window, after using a grinder may be an issue lol, have to drive around ace Ventura stylee:whistle:

Apart from tardis, which is fookin strong, I would recommend the autoglym intensive too!

Nothing you could put in a wash would get rid of tar safely, you will need to wash the car, remove the tar with product, then wash and rinse those areas thoroughly! Then seal / wax, ideally both both :ok:
