Which is the best sat Nav?

Currently looking at changing my Sat Nav and wondered if anyone had any feedback.I currently have an indago ,looking for something with decent screen, lots of camera info, possibility to update and good for Europe.Thanks.
Garmin Nuvi 3790T looks good!

SpecB 24-05-2011 08:25 PM

I had a Nuvi years ago before getting the built in unit (Garmin based) excellent piece of kit easy to update etc.

Nige 24-05-2011 08:26 PM

Garmin good choice :drive:

BIG"E" 24-05-2011 08:36 PM

I have no complaints with my Tom Tom.

Sandman 24-05-2011 08:39 PM

cant go wrong with a nuvi....had mine for years..never let me down, and lifetime traffic updates, that actually works

Steve_PPP 24-05-2011 08:40 PM

tom tom here too, got Europe maps on it and very simple to use.

We have 8 Sat Navs (work & personal) and the GoPoint on the iPad is in a league of it's own.
It make the likes of Tom Tom look daft.
Europe / all free road change updates / No subscription fees / No registering huge display and it's a £ 25.00 App.

Scott.T 24-05-2011 08:48 PM

Anybody that knows maps buy's Garmin. they have been GPS mapping for years

SpecB 25-05-2011 06:57 AM

I've also been using the Google App on my Android phone recently on the other car - bloody brilliant you get street view photos at major junctions and when you arrive!!

bigemp 25-05-2011 07:24 AM

TMC (live), Speed Cameras, Map updates, Voice turn by turn, clear screen plus more

and its cheaper then the main brands

Granby 25-05-2011 08:59 AM

Got Tom Tom on my iPod touch, used it last year on my trip to Germany and had no problems with it :drive:

bobsta 28-05-2011 01:18 PM

Sat nav's save you from shouting at the misses for reading the map wrong lol but i have called it twat nav a few times

scoobycoops 31-05-2011 08:34 PM

Ha hahaaahahhaaa!
PMSL!!!
what the "eff" does it matter what satnav you get?
You don't need one with camera info.
You don't need one with A roads, B roads, or fast roads!!!
The one in a passenger seat will always tell you the speed limit, that you've gone the wrong way, missed the bluddy turn and where to go!!!
And you WILL follow directions!

scoobycoops 31-05-2011 08:38 PM

Haha!
Off tomorrow!!
Ooh probly get in the neck thurs!

Frenchie 31-05-2011 09:27 PM
