I've run out of scoobs to buy so I bought and old one back.!

lol - I guess this was invevitable at some point seeing as there are only so many scoobs out there to own. I've still not managed to get scoobs out of my blood and my old blue saloon came up for sale, so couldn't resist to buy it back.... Forgot how well this one went and not far off how the Evo was pulling.

But this scoob thing is becoming a bit of an obsession now, and really must decide which one of the 3 scoobs I now have stays and which one/s go.

Yes mate, Sold it so Eliters in here from Newhaven, who then sold in another just around the corner from him. Both very near the flying fish. And then finally I bought it back :D Its a small world. And prior to first time I bought it it was owned by stiX from Scoobynet.

The car pulls like a train and would now pitch at around 320bhp. Feels very screwed together and strong. And I know the history of this car and its previous owners and price was right, so couldn't refuse really. I like the practicalilty of the wagons but I do prefer the looks of saloons as well.

Bodywork is not perfect TBH and to make mint and being anal about the car I would ideally want to get the bonnet, front bumper and rear bumper painted. But thats only to remove stone chips and odd tiny marks. Part of me sais just live it as is.

But it looks like I'm now going to be able to get the whinny diff sorted on the green MY99 wagon as well, so i'm a real dilema as to which to keep or sell.

Heart sais keep the saloon, financially the head sais sell this saloon.

But whatever the outcome, looks like buying an expensive German motor is on the back burner for a far while if at all, as in my own sadistic way I'm having fun mucking about and owning these scoobs.

Thats possible if it helps you out for a bit until you find your next set of wheels.

But subject to consent its looking like the MY99 will be going into Tones to have the diff done anytime soon. In which case I will need the MY98 wagon for myself and the blue saloon is now garaged and unisured until I can work out in my own head where I am going with all these cars.

Let Silver borrow and insure the blue one,

Then,

A, you get it cleaned to show room condition

B. Remaped.

C. You wont be tempted to get rid before it needs petrol.

D. Then you might own it for at least a month, and have time to decide where you are going, and time to find a replacement.

Just noticed that they've not got STI embroidered on them, must be uk300?

Look good in a classic with the door cards done too

RobEvo5 06-03-2011 10:18 PM

Cheers Steve, I think they are STI7 or UK300 seats. Best thing about them apart from looking good with the door cards, is that the seat position is close if not the same as classic seats. i.e you don't sit high like you do with STI8 seats.

Soz brad, keeping these seats they look smart, especially on the blue car as well, and gives a bit of newage feel to the car without the lardy proportions.

Car has a front splitter fitted since those pics. And a 4" round tail pipe which I might swap for my smaller 3" magnex, And swapped the centre consol over today to one that doesn't have holes for phone kit in the side, and I've given the car a bit of a detail and its come up really well.

Just need to decide whether head rules over heart now or visa versa. Which will then dicate which scoob I keep... But the saloon is looking favorite at the moment as the one that stays.

I've got STI7 seats in mine, they have the pink STI logo like the later ones. UK300 was the only one i think that had the same seats, but in a wrx. :)
