No I called him and spoke to the seller earlier,

He is adamant its a WR1.

It says it on the log book from the DVLA apparently.

Was there not a European version of the WR1 that was WR blue?

Even if there was, this aint one. Its not got any of the WR1 extra's, just looks like an STi with ppp by the looks of it. Sounds like the owner may have been misled too if he/she believes its a WR1.

I'm not sure whether to criticise the seller or not. It seems odd that the car is actually registered as a WR1 when you search the number plate?

Steve_PPP 10-02-2011 12:19 PM

I'm guessing it was just registered wrong - DVLA error. Happens with imports loads.

Its a 2005 STI, and the owner is being optimistic if he thinks its 320bhp standard ;)

Priceless mate :ok:

Maybe it is a WR1, just some tricks of light and clever photography have made it look like a normal STi
