A wiper is a wiper as far as i'm concerned, as long as it's the correct size

the new flat blaeds are bloody good. i think you canget PIAA oneson ebay.

i don't have them on the scoob but they are on the Seat and work v.well. although this may be more due to a newer less scratched screen then the blades.

Did put the flat blades on the mrs car, and unless the screen is dripping with water they are so bloody noisey and juddered all the time....so they didn't stay on for long

Re: Wiper blade's

I have a set of Bosch ones from halfords and all seems rosey! but what i will say is, is that i had to get a driver side wiper without the spoiler as this with the added wind pushing on it at speed gave me a terrible clicking noise at the top of the window at the top off its stroke. I have heard people say the PIAA ones are good but never tried them!

There are noisey juddering wipers as you found out. I would like some that work at speed dont dont lift off the screen judder and are quiet. Ive heard Piaa are good what about Sparco anyone use them? Nige

Only ever had problems with the flat blades, and the price of them i won't be going near them again.....a good amount of screen wash in the system will also help

Re: Wiper blade's

i've got the aero-flat ones on mine (thought i'd give them a go considering they were less than a tenner for both blades off ebay  )

so far i think they're better than the bosch standard style ones i had before (from halfords). Much quieter and smoother. only problem is that they do tend to judder a bit over 80mph (ish :paranoid: ) if its just drizzling and theres not enough water on the screen. but otherwise, pretty good.

Only expensive on the initial purchase. After that, you can buy just the replacement silicone blades (without the metal parts)
