Jesus bloody wept!

Without the cling film it looks even worse!

I think the temp gauge was fooked in the bang too... 50 degrees C

Mate, again, I can't believe you have got out of that alive, it's simply ****ing shocking.

I'm sure we will raise a glass or two to you this weekend, just because you are still with us. :hurrah:

worzel 27-05-2010 03:44 PM

I have just noticed that the engine has twisted about 40 degrees too. That must have been the rolling that did that. As it has not been pushed back.

How long will to take to get to Germany at 25mph! :drive:

Crowman 27-05-2010 03:46 PM

Mate i it does look worse for sure, get yourair bags diagnosed mate.
BMW are going to receive a very strong letter with a copy of all pictures,my injury pictures and my hospital discharge notes with all injuries listed.
to think there are at least 8 air bags in the front

Crowman 27-05-2010 03:47 PM

Fook me i didnt notice engine twisted.

worzel 27-05-2010 03:51 PM

It's ****ing shocking when you think about it. Something we take a bit for granted that they will go off, a massive shock when they don't.

I only noticed the twisted engine by the movement of the M badge. I think it's because it hasn't move into the car or out of it that it's not so easy to spot.

AndyWRX 27-05-2010 04:22 PM

blimey mate looks even worse, glad you managed to get out of it ok, strange none of the air bags went off though

Chunk 27-05-2010 04:30 PM

These pics make the first ones look like a car park dink

How the hell did you survive? or even get away with out more injury?

Crowman 27-05-2010 04:34 PM

No thanks mate, not something I want to think about. That would have been truly awful.

if you didnt have a seatbelt on i dont think you would of come out of it mate, at least the car held up the way it did even if it didnt deploy the airbags, think if it was in the scoob

gtiteen 27-05-2010 07:15 PM

f**k me. Looks like you were very lucky to walk away in the state you are. Shame about the car but it is only a bit of metal at the end of the day.

mrs crowman 27-05-2010 07:24 PM

makes me feel so sick.

alfa male 27-05-2010 07:32 PM

If he was in the Scoob his bags would of worked. Jap's are still one of the best with there electrics. They also stand up to a good impact [if thats the right word] The safty cell's are fantastic.

scooby999 27-05-2010 08:31 PM

I am no expert but i think your engine light may be on!!!!!lol
Glad your ok

Like we need an excuse! ;)

Having seen those pics, i'm backtracking on my comment in the other thread a bit - surely at least some of the bags should have deployed.

as people have said, was a lovely car but just a lump of metal at the end of the day!

Not a classic mate, they are built from flimsy tin.the BMW is very solid.

on a classic? don't think it would of stood up as well as the beamer mate plus the early classics don't have airbags to deploy :|

Chunk 29-05-2010 11:56 PM

I would have rather been in the Beemer than the scoob

Jolly Green Monster 30-05-2010 09:23 AM

Unfortunatly killed two classics and been in another when it was killed.
They are a lot stronger than you would expect.
They are not good side impact but otherwise excellent.
Oh and airbags damn hurt.
