coilover help
 
well a while back 1 of my coilovers cum unbolted and moved out of place and basicly the thread is nackerd does any1 know if i can get this sorted?? (the thread retapped or something?) coz aint the best ride drivin about with 3coilovers and 1 standard shock lol few pics 2 make it a bit clearer its the bit at the top where it bolts in.

Dosen't look to nice, run a tap down it and see what it cleans up like.

if it uses the same nuts as the OE shock it's a M12 x 1.5 tap.
It looks to be a bit of a coarser thread though in the piccy.

The other thing you could do is neatly grind the threads off and re-tap it with the next size down.
I nearly resorted to that with my shocks but managed to re-cut the thread slowley with a hacksaw.
