Subaru price increase?

I went up to Gatwick group (Subaru parts dealer) to get an oil filter and sump plug washer today for my WRX. I've only done around 1000 miles in just over a year and 5 months it was sitting in the garage over winter not being used, but I change the oil regardless. Any way... my point being they seemed to of doubled the price on some parts. The filter and washer came to just short of £15! Last time I remember only paying about £6. The parts man (nice man and helpful) said yep thats right they've increased their prices without giving a reason.

Just wanted to moan really... there we go.

Your spot on, the increase happened towards the middle of last year, IM - International Motors or Subaru UK, did absorb the currency difference for a while but just couldnt continue doing, hence the increase.

Thanks for the heads up MRX, :five: feel free to give us a shout if need any parts, we will try where poss on pirces.
