It may be right-off

L Tears are rolling down the checks
As Scooby has been bent and twisted
Very large stag didn’t know his "Green cross code"
Decided to cross without signalling
Rear off-side rump badly damaged
Needing to be put out of misery
Off side front badly damaged
Scooby possibly an insurance right-off
Tears still rolling down the checks L

Some reasonably good news, Blue (Cheeky’ husband) has been around to have a look. And after he urged me to open up the bonnet, it would appear that the following is damaged: Bonnet – outer off side wing – off side fog/spot light/head light and indicator (as a given); minor crease to inner off side wing; minor crease to air intact (plastic); bumper slightly scratched; rear off side quarter window scratched; bonnet scoop slightly damaged; front grill (possibly only the clip); headlight cover lens; slam panel bent as a nine bob note; bonnet catch jammed (we think) and I have a couple of broken bulbs L.

Worst of all the stag was suffering for at least ½ an hour or more, before the local farmer (I think) can to put him out of his misery. The police never attended to help clear the glass/debris off the road (whilst I was their at least).

Two couples stopped to check that we where OK, (which was very much appreciated considering I had my son and two friends in the car with me at the time). They went to drive off, with their own children in the cars, just as the farmer and wife turned up and shot the stag in front of them. Although the farmer id not realise this at the time and apologies straight when I highlighted it to him after loading the stag into the back of their pick-up.

Sorry to hear about your scoob mate, glad you are all ok.

Trouble is i bet that farmer is laughing all the way to his butcher, that stag will fetch good money, and could have payed for some of your damage.
