120,000 - 130,000 blank V5s stolen!?

so people have been buying cars since 2006 unaware of this scam. surely the DVLA should be held responsible in some way :nono:

Christ, sounds a nightmare. Surely pretty much the only way to deal with it is change the V5 system/document and make everyone reregister. Also surely the v5s had some sort ofnumber printed on the that they can identify stolen ones by?
