Look pretty good, but someone like Scott would be able to give you a more definitive answer.

I am no expert at all.

Its says its manufactured by Subaru I would bet its not, not for that money.

Looks too cheap and cheerful to me.

But I know nothing, I could be completely wrong.

If I were to go for a low end FMIC I would only go for a Hybrid or similar from Harvey Smith (Same as Nige had).
The welding and thickness of the pipes can be very poor on the cheap one.

Bear in mind that a FMIC used to be over £1000 and some of the top end ones are still close to that.

The Hybrid from Harvey is about £350 : http://www.geocities.com/harveysmith...micphotos.html

Told you Scott would put you straight.

Just out of interest Scott, if I were to go down this route, would you recommend these guys for mine? Or someone else?

Hybrid seem to have a good repuation and are great value.
Depends what core size you want, but most seem to run with similar sizes to the hybrid.

I'm not sure at what level the core size becomes relavant, but some around the £1000-£1500 mark are huge.

Totaly agree with Silver Surfer
Go with a Hybrid. Autobahn do the job but the hybrid IS a better bit of kit for not much more outlay. I run with an Autobahn88 FMIC but may have to upgrade to a Hybrid at somepoint.
If you want Harveys contact details let me know.

The Hybrid on newages pipes hangs low and can catch speed bumps if the scoobs lowered

Good to know, thanks for that mate. Mines pretty low and is a problem now on speed bumps with the exhaust catching.

:five:

I've seen 2 types on the newage, not sure what make though.

One where the pipe comes up by the battery and oil filler kneck, the other where it goes under the car and comes up the back by the gearbox.
I would assume the latter gives more ground clearance issues due to the pipes running underneath.

I'll take the latter out of the equation then.

Any less clearance on mine and I'll be proper fooked.
