65k spent on a scooby!

http://www.sussexscoobies.co.uk/foru...ies/cuckoo.gifI know we spend too much on our cars but there is a limit! That would have bought a new scooby and a ferrari 355 for the garage! (thats just off the top of my head!):geek:

Agreed..he didn't know when to stop!

As said above, the colour is nice, but its a copy of a Car over on WFC webby, and that one looks the nuts.

And I know its a very marmite subject, but without a rear spoiler, the side shot just looks like any other rep mobile on the road.

yeh spec list certainly doesn't make 65K even if you include the 28-30K starting price for the car.

BIG"E" 20-12-2009 09:53 PM

Should have left it as original.:nod::whistle:

If i was going to spend 65k on a project, why would you use a wr1? and if i was having a respray wouldn't u do the engine bay aswell?:fool:

Greig 20-12-2009 10:05 PM

well think of it as a bonus, if they keep ruining these cars and smashing them up the values will only rise . Reading posts on various other forums there is probably only 450 of them left! Keep as near as standard imho.

Anger 20-12-2009 10:40 PM

I got a 18'000 miles 6speed from a WR1 the other week, that had been rolled 3 times

Was a WR1? At least he had the good sense to change the colour then.

scatz 21-12-2009 09:05 AM

Hmm, the kit..........:rules: :wife: :kickbutt:

RobEvo5 22-12-2009 12:09 PM

Why oh why oh why would you deface a perfecetly good limited edition WR1 to create that pile of pooo. Let alone spend and allegad 65K on it.

All I can see it a tacky bodykit that I wouldn't give time of day for an a handful of bolt on bits, circa 5K at most. !

Each unto there own I guess but not my cupa tea.! and hate wild claims of spend.
