Condensation in boot

Just opened me boot to find 1/4 inch of mildrew growing on the carpet!
The underside of the bootlid is heavilly condensated.
Any ideas?

I do have an amplifier in the boot but never had this trouble in any other car i've had...........:?:

check to see if there is water sat under the spare wheel.
If so either the boot seal or more commonly the rear light clusters are leaking.

see any rust? Check the condition of the seals?

Could also be leaking through the boot spoiler....might be worth checking.

What about the compartment where the jack is kept, that usually fills with water :angst:

When you wash it, do you use a Jetwash? I find that sometimes the power from these just forces water in where it can.

mine normally has condensation in the boot lid, couldnt find any leaks or standing water so i guess its just normal?

Real lights & boot seal are the 2 common problems. had to replace my boot seal & reseal my lights

One thing mine had was a loose rear screen which leaked like a trooper, but I had a rattle noise as well so if you have the latter it might mean your window needs sorting.
