All Things Carbon Fibre

The Subaru has had a little unscheduled frontal re-modelling recently and the bonnet is knackered.
Now I've had a look around at carbon fibre replacements and seen this as the cheapest item about http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SUBARU-IMPREZA...ht_1879wt_1166
but as we all know cheapest isn't always best.

Are there any general rules of thumb regarding good / poor quality carbon fibre parts?

thanks.

Firstly, his ratings are excellent so you have more than likely no problems there.

It's difficult to say what the quality is like without seeing it. It's like most things, if it seems to cheap then it probably is cheap for a reason. It may not be the thickest item for instance?

It looks the part though in fairness, if you use it with some good bonnet pins (Jaffa / Anger are the men to ask about this) you should be fine.

I have bought parts from them before, All were excellent but they weren't body parts so can't say what they're like.
