Put deposit on new car today

Still got the scoob and will never sell it, but needed car for work.
Brought an M3 CS SMG . 2006 with 19k on the clock
CS is the limited run of the club sport, it has the CSL bigger brakes 360mm, and suspension, also quick Rack and a track mode button on the steering wheel, which basically makes a few changes to engine response and SMG settings.
In my opinion with very limit experiance of an M3 the quick rack is by far the best thing on the CS.
Will get some pics up once i collect it.

And before all the comments about BMW drivers, i have had a 320M sport for 2 years so heard them all before. lol

Good on ya Martyn, probably the best model of the M3's.

Crowman 31-10-2009 08:04 PM

Its all Worzels fault too:smile:

Mortster 31-10-2009 08:26 PM

Im not going to say anything. This was my car before heading down the Jap route.

Spotless M3, custom Deerhide and Nubuck trim, detango'd yada yada.
Had it when I could cycle to work everyday, and in 3 years of owning it I did 472 miles...

Had lots of Harmann goodies on it too.

Mortster 01-11-2009 12:24 AM

Very tidy car.

Didnt BMW make owners of these take a track test day or something when they were new?

Crowman 01-11-2009 08:19 AM

Nige
Sorry mate, you gotta get a beemer.
I'm going to take some convincing not to take the M3 to germany!
Seriosly though, it means the scoob can at last have some TLC and get it sorted for next year.

Mortster
I beleive that was the CSL, they invited you to a free track day test when you brought one, the CSL is a completely diferent animal.
I drove one last week it was stunning but could not do 20k miles a year in it, so harsh, full carbon race seats etc.

tandino 01-11-2009 10:10 AM

Very nice!,

Having driven a CSL myself and loving it i dont know if i could own a CS (not that i could afford one anyhow!) and not the CSL.
I didnt find it harsh, hardcore yes but not harsh!.
I guess that goes some way to summarise the cars ive owned before if i found a CSL a practical daily proposition!!:-P

Whichever way your a very lucky man!

Cheers Pete

DukeBoy 01-11-2009 03:32 PM

Sorry guys for logging in, i was looking for a Scooby forum!!! LOL

Looks nice Martyn, so you now have his and his cars.

Crowman 01-11-2009 07:27 PM

Huh Hum Rich non scooby related in here. Mmmmm maybe it should be renamed german corner.
Was hoping to find an M3 in diferent colour to Steve's to keep it diferent, but could not miss this one. I actually think its one of the nicest colours and Mr Worzel is cool with it.
watch this space, as some very gay his and his photos sure to follow.

We have come out of the closet big time.

Hers & Hers M3's :norty::norty: :cath:

RobEvo5 02-11-2009 12:07 PM

Very nice mate, Its sais something when die hard scoob fans/mods are jumping into E46 M3's as a more rounded daily car. Just when I was coming round to keeping the TVR and getting a classic scoob....Thats really giving me the bug for a E46 M3 now. Its infectious.... Arrrrgh.

worzel 02-11-2009 12:45 PM

southeeastbeemers anyone?
