Why?

how comes everything on this forum needs to be approved/moderated before it shows up on the public forum?? Is this just coz im a newbe or does this stop once you get past a number of posts?? :doh:

Yes you are correct, can't find the exact number of posts you need but once you reach it you will be able to post away without it having to be approved, it's been done to try and stop the spammers

ahh i see, thanks granby. 1 more stupid question... why is everything arse about face?? 1st post at the bottom of a thread ect?

It is set to 10 posts before you can post far and wide. As Ian said, it's due to spamming issues.

You can change the order of display at the bottom of the page. I have it the other way round.

If you go to your user CP at top of forum home page and in there you can set up your preferences.
