high flow fuel rails

Have fitted high flow fuel rails and fuel lines, i just need to know what to do with the fpr.
The original fuel rails have the fpr attached to the end but it won't fit the new rails.
Does it just need a seperate fpr or do i need 2 one on the return as well?
Thanks

You only need one fpr & it will have to be an aftermarket one like Sard, SX, Fuelab, Aeromotive e.t.c. which will be only be fitted after the fuel rails on the return to the tank (i.e: the fpr will ensure the pressure behind it is kept constant at whatever you want it to be - 3bar is stock if I remember right).

The 2 fuel rails can then be fed separately, or linked together, into the fpr (depends if you have one or two inlets into the fpr). Then the fpr outlet goes back to the tank as normal.

nice one cheers. What car have you got? Do you drive it around in e.g a lot??

yep agree with above.
FPR goes on return to tank not on the feed from the fuel filter.
A good FPR like a fuelab will have the ability to combine the 2 rails before returning to tank

thanks what setting will it need to be with 740cc injectors and a walbro 255 pump?
Also when my engine comes back from the builder and we get it back in etc, is there a default setting for the apexi to run the engine in on?
The spec is totally different from before. Cheers

set the fpr to 3bar with the vacum hose attached
the injector values on the apexi will need to be dropped, but the value depends on the injectors used, how well they flow and their spray pattern.

no running in map as such.
I would need to see the car to put a safe running in map on.

Just noticed your location is same as mine - howdy neighbour.

I got a v-ltd version 2 (blue, gold 17s). Only just started driving it around after 3 years working on it myself in the garage, self taught & when funds allowed lol (big thanks to Jaffa however for fitting the camkit & api pump - too much for my nut & bolt hands)!

Listen to Silversurfer about any mapping info! Also, don't be tempted to drive it when it's finished without having the map done or it'll probably end in tears.

I see a red classic about East Grinstead a lot. I've also seen a white classic & black classic on a few occasions. What car you got & what turbo you got matching those large 740s then?

Hopefully should be good when its done.
Scott did the map on the car last time so i will speaking to him again when it's all ready.
