Facelift help wanted
 

Hi guys my car is part way through a facelift. Its obviouely an early classic, it has the facelift lights but not the grill or bonnet. I bought it as it is but would like to finish it off but cant yet afford the bonnet so was going to do the next stage and get the grill as i plan on changing the front bumper so thought it would make sense to get the grill painted up at the same time (as i think i might get them smoothed in).

What i was wondering was, will a facelift grill fit to the pre-facelift bonnet ok as i have a feeling i have seen somewhere it wont?

It does fit, but the ends of the grill at the top dont look 100% with the bonnet.

I'm fitting a facelift grill this weekend, i've got fre-facelift bonnet & facelift lights

cheers chunk, my lights already dont match the bonnet nor grill so surely it cant look any worse

have a look at my waggon , and then you will see i have done mine and it looks ok , and havent got facelift bonnet or lights
