Saying goodbye to scoobies- for now
 

Alas the time has come to part ways with my current and most likely last subaru !

My 93 Ver1 wrx which ive had for 5 years now. Had a lot of fun in it over the years, and a very stand out car in todays sea of VWs !

Had a few dual carriageway pulls with my friends 350hp supercharged EP3 civic r and at the top of 3rd and 4th I noticed a hesitation. When i got home saw some bubbles coming out the coolant in the header tank and the exhaust smelt strongly of coolant. Uh oh !

Thats now the 2nd headgasket in 5 years but thats what happens when you regularly redline a 31 year old car I guess !

Was tempted to get it sorted as I can never really loose money on the car, I picked it up in 2019 for less than what a rolling shell costs nowadays (£1500) but after owning 7 subarus I think im calling it a day.. for now ...

Got a H22 Prelude which has been sitting on the drive for 3 years so I think thats going to be my next money pit for a little while :deadhorse:
