Exhausts
Thinking about changing my exhaust from the Nur Spec.
What is a good sounding exhaust? Got to have.... The burble, Deep rumble, Look good, Sound good, not be too quiet, but at the same time, not too loud I'm not really fussy  |
I had the Scoobyworld 'afterburner vortex' on my old MY00, lovely sounding/looking pipe imho.
Due to the concerns of the wife about late home arrivals and upsetting the neighbours, I purchased the 'bung' which makes a whole lot of difference and is a good investment for those long 'drone free' journeys. Vortex £250 http://www.scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog...products_id=76 Bung £25 http://www.scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog...oducts_id=1294 |
As above, vortex afterburner every time for me!
|
also had afterburner on 3 different scoobs sounds awesome and not too loud inside if you still have middle cat on(without middle cat lot louder inside though)
|
Yep, Afterburner vortex for me. IMO it sounds just right. Got the bung aswell which does make a big difference (not that its been in more than 3 times!), although you cant toe with the bung in as it seems to always work its way loose.

Depends on individual requirements, my mate Pete at ExhaustsUK makes one of the best as he compares all the exhausts to his for performance and quality and he can build it to your needs, but he is in Sheffield.
Each to their own of course. |
TSL on the Scoob sounds just right
|
I've got a 3" HKS de-cat downpipe, will be a cat free car. Got the use of 4 scoob friendly MOT testers.
Still want loud, just not Nur Spec loud. Will make sure i'm at the next meet so i can hear some of yours. Baz... Does your mate send them? |
