1996 wrx

Ok car almost ready been longer than expected but 95% there
Recently changed fuel pump to 340lph from race lines still on standard injectors and fuel rails
May need to add a fuel pressure regulator
Also added some new drop links from m2 and some new springs
Do you think I will have any issues with new fuel pump do I need fuel pressure regulator I'm running standard injectors

You don't "need" a fuel pressure reg but they are a sensible mod if you are going to be pushing the car hard often and upping the power in the future.
I would have thought changing to a 340 l/ph fuel pump would have required a remap?
Injectors can take a higher fuel pump, but again I would have thought a remap would have been required to keep everything fueling how it should?

The pump is only flow control to the engine, it doesn't effect how much more the injectors poor in and regulate.
I wouldn't be changing the regulator without a map. You will be on the grey 380s and believe 3bar reg. no need to go further if your still on the stock tmic .
As I don't know what mods your running it's hard to surgest anything.

Thanks for replying
I also have front mount inter cooler and will be looking into a remap
In next month or two as I’m not currently driving car at the mo
I’m not wanting to achieve massive power but would like around
The 320bhp mark
Also I have 3” exhaust from turbo back and it sounds great can’t wait to drive it
I also changed springs along with new drop links new tyres steering wheel and boss
Want to get gear stick looked at as it just so loose loads of play
But finally getting there but don’t think I will stop buying parts just yet
Think I will get some bushes next and other bits here n there
Thanks guys

If your running a Fmic then it's advisable to remap them as you have changed the air flow and I'd imagine a cone/pod filter of some sort to allow fitment of the I/C pipe,
If your going to map it the 380 injectors you have will be fully maxed out at the power your looking for, you can fit the later yellow 440s which will happily run 320.
Run grade 7 plugs.
310/320 is really the max you will want to run a stock v2 wrx engine and box .
The gear ratio in them and 1190kg car does make it a fast little motor.
