SES Lunch Meet - The Robin Hood Inn - Sat 8th Sept 2018
 

Septembers meet will be a lunch meet at The Robin Hood Inn, Bluebell Hill, Kent on Saturday 8th September at 12:30pm.

The pub are happy to book the restaurant area for us all as per previous meets depending on the attendance.

The Robin Hood is a charming 700 year old Grade II listed Inn reported to be one of the oldest in England and visited by pilgrims on their journey along The Pilgrims Way. Nestling in woodland in an area of 'oustanding natural beauty' in the heart of Kent.

I need to get an idea of numbers as the venue order fresh produce in daily, and also if people could put up what they want to eat so I can let them know in advance that would be a great help!

This was a well attended meet back in March, and everyone commented on how good the food was so the more the merrier!

Gentle gee-up for any other members wanting to attend, and also for names already down to start adding menu choices so I can pass them on to the pub.

The menu is freshly cooked and so by pre-ordering the venue can get in enough ingredients. No problem if people don’t pre-order but the if you don’t you may be disappointed in the venue has sold out of your choice :ok:

Surprisingly the classics and bugs outnumbered blobs today which was nice to see, not sure when we last had so many bugeyes at a meet.

No worries mate, it was worth a punt for a few minutes effort. Just a shame that the bumpers are subtly different after all!

Looks like an expensive trip to ZunSport will be in order then....
