Hi,as I'am soon to have more BHP and getting an oil change done I wondered which is the best engine oil for my car(2002 WRX)

I'm using the Halfords motorsport stuff, it's been playing on my mind its Halfords stuff

Going to change back to my usual Mobil 1 stuff as soonb as i can afford it (it's on offer at the mo)

idNo,idea I'am afraid.Whatever the servicing garage put in,never needs topping up.

Castrol magnatec 10/40 is what mine has .

Everybody has different thoughts on this, some say fully synthetic others say semi. Subaru for mine recommend Shell Helix.

How long is a piece of string comes to mind.:doubleup:

10\40 semi from any motor factors. Regular mobile one is too thin mobile one motorsport is too thick and tappets can tick a bit from cold in the winter. If you really must spend more then £25 then go for shell helix

Would that be Shell Helix Plus and how much would I need for an oil change,thanks

no mention of Millers? what are peoples thoughts on the 10w60?

I've started using Comma semi 10>60 as it gets changed every 1500 to 2000 miles as i get bored !
