2006 JDM Sti?
 

Hello everyone,

Was hoping someone could give me an insight as to if my Subaru is worth what I need it to be worth.

I have a 2006 Impreza WRX STi which is a Japanese import. I had it imported for me by a company about 2 years ago. A couple of days after I took it to FB Tuning so he could remap it, according to him it was running about 340BHP after the map.

I am now looking to sell it due to a change in circumstances (child). The issue is it is on finance and I know that I would not of been able to sell it for what was left owing. I'm hoping now I owe about £10,000 so I wondered if there would be any chance of me being able to sell it at £10,000 or is it still too high?

The car is in good condition for the age but obviously has a few age related marks, its done about 87,000 miles. Does have some paperwork and I believe the cambelt is due in the next couple of years (will have to double check). It's had 4 new tyres for the last MOT and the MOT is due in about 6 months, again I would have to check.

Obviously if the car isn't worth the £10,000 I'll have to keep it but would be nice to find someone (or dealer) who wants it for the finance settlement.

Hello there. I’d say it was worth that in the current market, yes. Wouldn’t have thought a dealer would give you that for it as there’s not enough in it for them but via private sale, it should sell.
