Just spent 2 hrs on the M25 trying to get to Cambridge, M11 closed, back home now, snow falling near Dartford .:sad:

We didn't get much either, a tiny dusting that lasted less than a day in the more northern parts of Sussex but most places got nothing. Certainly not like the midlands!

Caterham was the only place I’ve been to with a bit, was interesting in the M3

Just seen the BBC local news, looks like Kent could be a bit snowy this morning.

I don't know. This snow looks like a dust to me at least here in London. I'm loosing hope again to see the winter this year. :santagrin:

Sunny here on Clapham Common

Tiny dusting on Mid-Sussex at 7am but mostly gone now, sun coming out.

Wonder how many years we have to wait until we get another like 2010 (I think), when we had 13 inches in Sussex. Ellie has never seen more than about 2cm!

Someone say snow looked out my window nope is scotland getting to hot lol .

BBC must have hyped it up as the news said several multi-car accidents this morning due to ice and snow! !

Tunbridge Wells apparently had 3 inches...

I think there were a few accidents in the M20, Kent was worst hit overnight but all fine now

Just seen the local forecast for the southeast, amber warning for heavy snow later today.

By heavy they mean 1/2 inch which will be enough to panic buy bread and milk and grind the country to a halt lol

I really disappointed by BBC Weather forecast. Checked the web site on Friday and there was no snow predicted until this coming Friday. Monday, Tuesday supposed to be cold but sunny. Any way I'm going to take a trip to Leeds Royal Armouries Museum this Saturday. Nice test for a Foz. 400+ miles return. :drive:

I feel like I live on a different planet. didn't see much snow. maybe a little bit on Foz's windshield.

We've got loads of snow here in Borough Green! Got to go on a rescue mission soon to collect my wife from the station in Sevenoaks, since all the trains on our line are cancelled.

That looks fun,still no sign of snow here.

Drove from Hastings to Leicester today via M23/M25/M1, roads were dry from Reigate to J18 of the M1, brief white out and then clear again to J21 where I got to Leicester. The delivery mileage A Class is looking a little worse for wear, I'm sure it's fine under the layer of salt. Wonder what the journey back will be like tomorrow.

Hasnt stopped here its at ankle deep at the moment cant even see the big bonnet scoop 😊😊

It wasn't too bad, left Leicester at 1:30, M1 was shut southbound so cut across the M69 and A46 towards the M40, brief panic moment when I hit a blizzard on the A46 and dropped to a single lane 10mph Crawl, 10 minutes later I was on a dry M40 in lovely sunshine, couple more flurries on the M25 and straight down the A21, took about 4 hours with a fuel and coffee stop.

Things are getting interesting snowing , thunder and lightning all at the same time .

roads are very quiet (thank god) so you can actually get around now..........

amazing amount of cars simply dumped at the side of the roads causing mayhem

Lol aĺl week my kids have been waking up expecting school to be closed everyday, have been in everyday including today. Had a slight dusting over this week, nothing more and heating works fine..

Total media hype with a few exceptions mainly in scotland who are used to it and made of tougher stuff and just get on with it.

Sour grapes as ive not had a snow day...... probably. 😁

It has been a bit of a lottery as to where the snow has fallen. We still have about 3 inches on the ground, although not much significant since Wednesday. One school in our village has been closed since Tuesday, the other open all week!

Give the forecasters a break, it's a tough job being accurate to the postcode level... The media though, they're a bunch of sensationalist numpties (nothing new there)!

There's a few thousand nutters in Hastings about to start the half marathon, at least it's forced the council to fix all the pot holes along the route.

Shame the rest of the town is utter ****e ATM for roads crumbling or holes

Cheers, rugby was cancelled (not surprising) so we just went and mucked about in the park (on foot). :)
