My wagon needs some work done, has anyone used Dan at Surrey Subaru specialists? he seems very knowledgeable and a decent guy. he quoted £399.00 + VAT for a cambelt change, more expensive than some but not excessive i think.

Dan has looked after my FSTi and my wife's wagon for years (at least five).

I can thoroughly recommend him.

He's always done a great job, been helpful with advice and support, as well as turning up at my house (35 miles away) at ten at night to change a ball joint to get my car off a flat bed recovery vehicle it was trapped on.

Hope that gives you some comfort to go ahead. I don't think you'll regret it. :ok:

As for price, he uses proper parts and does a solid job. He's always booked up, so I guess his hourly rate reflects that.

My cambelt was done last week at another specialist and price is on par with what you have been quoted if that helps? :ok:

Dan has looked after the last 2 of my Subaru's and he's a very knowledgeable guy when it comes to these cars :nod: and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone, his work is always top notch :ok:

I don't use Dan as I have mates who work on my car or I do myself but have known Dan for 12 years now and wouldn't hesitate to use if needed

Well, after collecting my car from Dan, all I can say is what a great job he does, the paperwork trail was enormous and he took 10 minutes to talk me through everything he had done or checked.
Very pleased I used his and would defiantly recommend
