Crowman 09-09-2009 10:06 PM

:razz:Very nice Nige, loved it when i saw it in germany flying around the ring.

C. J. 10-09-2009 08:49 AM

very nice , you should get into the 400's easy with the standard engine & box and be back to the power you where used to easy anuff

worzel 10-09-2009 08:51 AM

Exactly, these things can take 400 all day.

The only difference will be the grunt from the torque. The scoob had that in bucket loads. 8-)

AndyWRX 10-09-2009 02:12 PM

looks good mate, very nice

I do miss that low down grunt & my burble. The Evo needs 3000rpm then it's off where the Scoob was away at 2500rpm. I do go into the garage start the scoob & smile. In many way's the Scoob is a better car, paint work, gearbox, easy to drive a better day to day car. I think with this model Evo they spent the money on aluminium bits all over the place. Bilstien suspention alloy cross members, ect, even the roof on this model is alloy. I need more time with this Evo then i will make my mind up. Its not a step up in cars, but there is something about it i really like. ;-)

Crowman 20-09-2009 08:00 AM

Both look cracking mate.
The scoob just has more character in my opinion.
But if i were to chose one to take to the ring,it would be the evo, no question. You could drive the evo flat out down there nail it around the ring and then flat out back and it wouldnt worry it at all.

AndyWRX 20-09-2009 08:08 AM

i like them both but imo its gotta be the scoob, i like the evo but it dosent look as agressive as the scoob, its hard having to choose between them both but to top it off the scoob has more of a unique sound

Lucky 20-09-2009 08:56 AM

Both lovely mate. I always find it funny how people are either scoob or evo, yet on paper they are one of the same. For me, the scoob wins it, as you said, as a day to day car, and of course the noise, i dont think they can be beaten. Nice choice to have tho lol

Scooby Wez 20-09-2009 09:35 AM

Seeing them side by side it's got to be the scoob. What's the bike hidden in the garage.

Scooby Wez 20-09-2009 01:36 PM

Nice put a daytime mot on it then off you go:doubleup: Still perfer the scoob over the evo and i have the kid's votes in now as well. They all say scoob as well :10:

It would worry me mate! That bloody Evo is very thirsty on a run,yet its better than the Scoob around town.

Chunk 20-09-2009 03:55 PM

I was toying with the idea of getting an Evo 5 last year. But kept the scoob coz i wouldnt have got the money for it due to running probs.

I WILL have an Evo one day

Steve_PPP 21-09-2009 05:06 PM

Chunk 30-09-2009 08:40 AM

I prefer the 5

I'd buy the 5 for the fun of driving, then add the 6 spoiler & front bumper

Until i could afford the X

If only i could. I cant mate my bike money is tied up in the Evo so Scooby has to go. Ive taken a deposit on the Scoob but its not likely to go untill Jan/Feb next year. I'm looking for an Aprlia Rsv factory if you know anyone who's selling? Hope the hunt for your new car works out.
