Any opinions on these led halo/projector light units?

Just wondering if anyone has a view on these replacement light units?

http://www.car-mod-shop.co.uk/su30l2...rhd-only).html

Don't want to be failing MOT, blinding other drivers etc.

Otherwise, I'm sure I saw a thread on one of the Scooby forums where someone retrofitted projector units in to the oem light surrounds. Does anyone know of it having been done and have a link or how to guide, or any other suggestions?

Apologies if this topic has been done to death in another thread. I did have a search and couldn't find anything.

Thanks!
Mike.

Ask C.J about these, think he has fitted something similar.

It does say at the end of the description "No e Mark" so they would be illegal in my neck of the woods (and most of Euroland) - I kept coming across this when I was trying to get some replacement units for my old 2003 WRX.

These days you can probably put in some decent replacement LED bulbs and don't have to worry about replacing the whole thing.

Led bulbs don't work on their own very well , need the projectors to direct the light

Not necessarily true any more, as replacing standard halogens with LED equivalents on my STI has worked perfectly well and are far better than stock. I've also seen replacement of old dipped beam bulbs work but your mileage my vary.
