A friend of mine has two tickets for the Formula 1 final race of the season the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, at the Yas Marina circuit on the weekend of the 25th - 27th November. They are box seats and include flights, hospitality, and hotel accommodation. He didn't realise when he bought them that this is the same day as his wedding .

If you're interested and want to go instead of him, it's at St Johns Church, Worcester at 2.15pm on the 26th. Her name is Janet. She’ll be the one in the white dress.

I was reading the story thinking to myself how well your friend had done to get such great tickets...

I actually had a friend that used to live out there and was quite senior in HR for NBAD who sponsor the GP. If you were over there for another reason the actual tickets used to be quite good value as it gets you in for all 3 days plus the big name concert after the race for about the price of a race day ticket at Silverstone.

Ha ha that did make me laugh,for a nano second I was wondering if I had any holiday left to book? :grin:

I've seen a variation of this before, but the way you wrote it hooked me in for a moment... until the wedding was noted as the reason.
