Chrome Part of Headlight

Spoke to Scott the other day and he mentioned something about taking the headlights out, opening them up and spraying the chrome part black.

Has anyone done this on a hawk and do they have any picture? Are there any guides about on how to do this?

Although not a Hawkeye, I am guessing it is possibly the same principles as Dave shows in this walk through. Unfortunately, many of us who have pulled apart the headlight units have found (however well we have sealed the units after) that water can still get in and mist up the lights, so bare in mind its not a quick and easy job.

Have a read of Scotts old Hawkeye thread as he covered it in there along with all his other stuff.
