Are you taking about opening the boot from inside the car?

There is a leaver on the boot mechanism that when switched, prevents the remote release inside the car working.

Check its not been inadvertently knocked, as it easy to do.

Is it not releasing at all or do you mean it won't pop up? I assume you've flicked the little latch on the boot lock mechanism as this locks out the in car release.

Beaten to it again.

Sounds like the cable is stretched had the same on the blob and replaced the cable and works spot on again

Cable is good can see the latch at the boot end moving everytime the boot lever is pulled unless there is something missing .

Yep mine was exactly same as that Scotty but bit the bullet and bought a new one and works fine now as it was just stretched

If thats the case it can wait for now .
