Hurst have a pretty good reputation online but as with all 'specalist' dealers you do pay a bit extra - prodriftUK have a very good name in the Legacy world with a lot of the guys using them for JDM imports.

same as any dealer out there, they buy and sell to make a profit:nod:

Lots of the cars are purchased from forums, sales ad's etc etc at knock down prices and sold on at a bumped up price point...... some people seem to still prefer to buy from a trader/ dealer as they believe they have a better 'comeback' if a fault occurs and then theres the fact that most traders can provide finance making the purchase easier for some......

same as any car purchase, do your homework, check the car out or have it checked out and if your happy with your 'due dilligence' then its the same as anything else... you pays your money, you take your chance:nod:

Recent example from two forum members......
both purchased car from same trader..... one very happy:doubleup: one not so:doubledown:

even with plenty of forum recommendations, things can go wrong...... not everyone posts the negatives for whatever reason:boom:

good luck with the search

They go off claiming to be private buyers then try and hammer you down taking advantage of people needing cash. I know as they bought my car from me, I worked out who they were and told them when they arrived. I don't believe they did the jobs doing that they said they would and then the buyer got in touch with me, I took all forms of contact details and names out of the history

I have seen one or two sheds come from them passing through friends workshops, same as any stealer / trader really I guess.

Stuff generally seems priced at the high end of the scale for what it's worth from them
