Can't raise my head rest in rear!!!!!

Hi guys..... Having issues. Bought a mesh dog guard for my JDM V6 wagon sti.. It attaches to the metal bars on the rear head rests, slight problem.... My
wagon has bugeye rear seats..... Does anyone know how or if they can do anything other than move forwards and backwards.... Googles isn't your friend in this case and can't for the love of life find buttons and with screw driver I can't even find a button or pressure point to push. Have sore fingers and nails missing ........

Any help would be most appreciated.
Thanks
Tamsyn X

If they have head rest that move which i never come across on a scoob before and if so there should be a plastic mount on top of the main seat you push that to release the head rest so that you can move it up or down .

The only thing I between the bars is a fixed (screwed) plate with indentation. Can't get it to move. My head rests are the ones that sit into the rear seats instead of on top. The old classic head rests you pushed the bit in where the bars slotted into the seat it self..... Proper scratching my head !!!!

does your rear seat have a 70/30 split? I.E. a clearly separate seat single back and then the double?

photos speak a thousand words
