Not a first thread I wanted to post.....
 

I am after some advice as I have been experiencing some issues the last few days with my WRX...

So I noticed on Wednesday that the car wasnt itself and it was struggling to boost past 5k rpm. I didnt think much of it until I got in it yesterday after work and started to hear a slight whistling/low pitch noise which went after the car had warmed up. I have never heard this before, then the exhaust (which is usually stupidly loud) went alot quieter and it didnt have the usual popping sound i have got used to.

I have taken the car into TGM today to get them to have a look and they have agreed that the car isnt right and that it felt to them that the turbo was being strangled at 5-7k rpm. Until they have a full inspection on Monday they cant tell em for sure what it is.

Has anyone suffered similar issues to advise em on likely cause and potential costs.

Really gutted as I have always wanted an Impreza and after 6 months it has let me down!
