ecu help

I have a the everyday mods for a scoob.... i.e air filter, decat, 3inch pipe from turbo back to a box.

Is there any ecus out there that dont cost an arm and a leg that will helps run my car how it should woth these mods?
Can i buy say for instance a 2000 uk turbo ecu and have that mapped as my 97 cant be mapped. (Hoping this make sence)

Speak to Duncan at Race Dynamix he can provide an ESL daughter board that fits inside your ECU which makes it laptop mappable.
These are around £295+VAT plus mapping fee.

This will retain all of the standard ecu functionality and safety features with the advantage of being mappable.

Not sure. It may be another factory diagnostics connector.
I have never seen it used or referred to. ABS diagnosis perhaps ?
